GET INVOLVED
There are lots of ways to get involved in the life of St John’s. See which ones might be right for you.
Belonging is at the heart of church life. When we share meals, study together, serve together, and laugh together, we grow in faith and friendship. Being part of a group helps us support one another and live out our calling as a community following Christ. If you’re not yet connected, we encourage you to try something new.
Interest groups
We have a number of Bible study and home groups for all ages and stages. Other groups cater for our craft and sports enthusiasts. There’s sure to be a group for you.
Operational support
If you have an interest in Christian education, finance, communications, property management, or outreach activities, we’d love to talk to you more! Experience is welcome, but not essential.
Sunday services
Help the service run smoothly on Sundays by joining our team of volunteers. Bible reading, prayers for others, greeting, taking the offering, doing the morning tea, ringing the bell, operating the sound system - there’s something for everyone.
Outreach
We are committed to bringing our Mission statement to life in a practical way, by building ongoing relationships with groups and organisations, including providing financial grants to help them in their work.
