GET INVOLVED
There’s lots of ways to get involved in the life of St John’s.
Joining us on Sundays at 10 am for our worship service is one way, but there are other ways to be part of our church life. Check out some of these options below.
Interest groups
We have a number of Bible study and home groups for all ages and stages, including our St J’s Kids and youth. Other groups cater for our craft and sports enthusiasts. There’s sure to be a group for you.
St J’s Kids and youth
We have special programmes for our St J’s kids (up to Year 6 at school) and our youth (Years 7-13). As well as Sunday peer group time during our worship service, our youth meet up on Friday nights for fun activities.
Operational support
If you have an interest in Christian education, finance, communications, property management, or outreach activities, we’d love to talk to you more! Experience is welcome, but not essential.

We have a few teams working on making our vision a reality. Sound like you?
Sunday services
Help the service run smoothly on Sundays by joining our team of volunteers. Bible reading, prayers for others, greeting, taking the offering, doing the morning tea, ringing the bell, operating the sound system - there’s something for everyone.
Outreach
We are committed to bringing our Mission statement to life in a practical way, by building ongoing relationships with groups and organisations, including providing financial grants to help them in their work.
