ST J’S KIDS

A safe space for children up to Year 6 at school

St J’s Kids meet on Sunday mornings, starting in church at 10 am (unless it’s a Communion Sunday, when they start in their peer groups). After the children’s talk and a sung blessing, they head to the St John’s Centre for peer group time to learn more about God and to help their faith development.

We generally use the Spark Lectionary curriculum, which follows the lectionary readings. Children are engaged in learning through stories, crafts and games.

On long weekends and school holidays, we run a holiday programme, where all the peer groups are together for fun activities. There’s also the opportunity to be part of the children’s Christmas pageant each year.

If you’d like to find out more about our St J’s Kids programme and/or would like to volunteer to be part of this, please contact Naomi Lane, Diane Shaw, or Hannah Dunne.
