Whānau Nights

Our Whānau Nights are about connecting and discovering what it looks like to ‘do church’ in a different way. We spend time together learning and growing in our faith, building relationships with one another, and prioritising fellowship as a faith community. They are times of fun, faith, and fellowship. These intergenerational events are not just for families - we want everyone to come and join us.

In 2026, we have planned our Whānau Nights around the theme of ‘Telling our faith stories’. These will be held on the following dates.

  • Sunday 26 April - Telling our stories 2 - at the St John’s Centre from 5-6.45 pm

  • Saturday 27 June - Board games night at the St John’s Centre (time to be confirmed)

  • Sun 2 August - Telling our stories 3 - at the st John’s Center from 5-6.45 pm

  • Friday evening to Sunday afternoon 18-20 September - Church camp at Forest Lakes (near Otaki)

  • Sunday 29 November - Sharing our stories and Christmas gift making at the St John’s Centre from 5-6.45 pm
