Cross-cultural encounter visit

The Cross-cultural encounter visit is an opportunity for us to share life and faith across cultures through our partnership with churches in Indonesia. By welcoming a visiting student minister into our congregation, we will offer hospitality and learn together—sharing worship, ministry, and everyday life in Christ.

This is a valuable experience for us, reminding us that the church is global, not just local. It enriches us by bringing fresh perspectives, deepening our understanding of God’s work in different cultures, and strengthening relationships that go both ways. We are invited not just to host, but to participate—through prayer, friendship, and openness to what God might teach us through this shared experience.

Our visitor will be Gracia Rondonuwu, a sixth-semester theology student at the Theological Philosophy Seminary of Eastern Indonesia (STFT INTIM) in Makassar, Indonesia.

You are invited to support our fundraising efforts to bring Gracia here (including our disco on 25 July). We are also looking for offers to billet her for at least part of her stay in Wellington. Contact us if you would like to offer this or to find out more.
