The Bible Course

The Bible can feel big, complex, or hard to navigate, but it doesn’t have to. This winter, St John’s in the City is hosting The Bible Course, an eight‑week journey that helps you see how the whole story of Scripture fits together and why it matters for life today.

This is the first time The Bible Course has been run in New Zealand, and we’re delighted to partner with Bible Society NZ as their pilot group ahead of a national launch during Bible Month in July. Over 140,000 people in the UK have already taken part, finding it accessible, engaging, and confidence‑building.

Whether you’ve read the Bible for years or are just beginning to explore Christian faith, you’re warmly invited.

It’s free, a meal will be provided, and childcare is also available. The course starts at 5 pm on 3 May.
