Our Vision teams
We want to make our Vision a reality, so there are practical things we are doing to achieve this. We would love you to get involved in one of our teams. Click on the + sign to find out more about each team.

Help us explore how the St John’s site can be used in an outreach capacity. Projects organised by this team have included Christmas in the Courtyard.

We care for God’s creation as part of our mission. Activities include becoming an ‘Eco-church’, beach cleanups, and recycling projects (such as collecting lids for recycling and coffee grounds for composting).

Help us build direct relationships with our immediate neighbourhood - business and organisations, Victoria University of Wellington and Massey University, Kaianga Ora, building developers, Wellington City Council, neighbouring Churches, and schools. Projects have included providing a safe, quiet study space for students during exams.

Our Whanāu nights are an intergenerational activity, held monthly during school term time in the St John’s Centre or at homes. They are nights of fun, food and faith focus.

Help build internal relationships and friendships in the St John’s community. Projects have included supporting attendance at church camps.
