Public theology lecture

Looking at Select Western Paintings: Art Historical and Theological Insights

On Wednesday 15 July at 7pm St John’s will host Professor Heidi Hornik, an international scholar in theology and the arts, for a public lecture exploring the intersection of faith and visual culture.

She will examine how artists across the centuries have interpreted biblical stories, using their creativity to reflect on Christian faith, and moral questions.
This promises to be a rich and accessible evening, offering fresh insight into how art can deepen our understanding of Scripture and Christian discipleship.

All are warmly welcome – invite friends, neighbours, and anyone with an interest in art, faith, and culture.
